Solanum, also known as the 'potato vine' is a deer resistant plant treating you to non stop color the entire season, blooming spring through fall. Enjoy masses of large, fragrant, rich blue-violet flowers with yellow centers. The potato vine enjoys lots of full sun and heat, so consider in those difficult spots in your yard, such as hot courtyards, or against the house on a warm southern or western exposure. This easy care plant can reach about 6 to 8 feet if not pruned, but clip to maintain desired topiary shape and form. As pictured, use massed with seasonal annuals, or use in the mixed border surrounded with edging plants. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden. Hardy to USDA zone 9 and all higher zones.
