Rio Oso Gem Peach will produce very large sized peaches with red blushed yellow skin. Enjoy firm yellow flesh red at pit. The Rio Oso is one of the best tasting August ripening peaches, and is often used as a pollinizer for J.H. Hale peach, though self fertile itself. Chilling requirements for the Rio Oso are approx 900; hardy to USDA zone 6. Enjoy the peaches for fresh eating, cooking, drying, canning and jams or jellies. Freestone.
